Beyond The Rom Com 1

Week One:

After the Movie Ends

Day Five:

Love in Action

Love isn’t meant to be confined to our closest relationships – it should overflow into every aspect of our lives. From how we treat the cashier at the grocery store to how we engage in political discussions, love should be our defining characteristic. This practical, everyday love isn’t about grand gestures or dramatic displays. It’s about consistent, small choices to show kindness, patience, and respect to everyone we encounter. When we allow God’s love to transform us, it naturally affects how we interact with the world around us.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.” – 1 Corinthians 13:4

Reflection Question

How can you practically demonstrate God’s love in your everyday interactions this week?

From the Sermon

This should infect every area of your life, not just your marriage. Should affect your parenting. It should infect your politics. It should affect the way that you operate at the grocery store.

Prayer

Lord, help me to be a channel of Your love in every interaction today. Show me practical ways to demonstrate Your love to others, even in the smallest moments. Make me more like You. Amen.
