- So, who has Christmas decorations up?
- Based on last week, did anyone create a habit? Tell me about your cue, routine, and reward.
REBUILD THE SERMON:
Trail 11: Why does it matter if I go to church?
- What stood out to you from the sermon?
- Read Hebrews 1:24-25 and Galatians 6:2-3
- According to these, why should continue to go to church?
Leader Hint: To consider how to spur others to love and good deeds and to carry each other’s burdens. - Harmony takes a pronged approach to the culture of the church. What are they and why are they important?
Leader Hint: Deeper discipleship, Connect Groups, Serve not served.
Trail 12: How do I integrate God into the rest of my life?
- Read Colossians 3:17.
- How much of your day is spent doing things without consciously involving God?
- How can we change from fitting God into our days to fitting our days into God?
Trail 13: What could I offer God?
- Read Zechariah 4:10 and Ephesians 4:16 and James 4:17
- What are the three practical things we can get out of these verses?
Leader Hint: Start with the little things; Start with faithful things; Just start something.
Application Question:
- Pick the one application question that resonates with you the most and incorporate it into your week.
11: What would change if you decided this was the church you will attend for the rest of your life.
12: What practice could you do this week to start to make God part of your everyday life?
13: Who around you right now are experiencing trials, tragedy, transition, or temptation? Pray for them and ask God if there is a way, He would like you to make a difference. - Take up prayer requests and pray together.
