- According to John 11:45-53, why did the religious leaders plot to take Jesus’ life after His miracle with Lazarus?
- Can you empathize with the religious leaders here?
- How do you think Martha and Mary felt when Jesus delayed His visit despite knowing their brother was gravely ill?
- How does this delay reflect Jesus’ greater plan?
- How does it impact you to know that Jesus wept at Lazarus’ tomb, sharing in the grief of those around Him? Does it make Jesus’ seem more human?
